AccountingWEB Announces 2011 AccountingWEB Accounting Student Scholarship Winners

Westerville, OH (July 27, 2011) - AccountingWEB, the leading online community for accountants, is pleased to announce that three winners have been chosen as the 2011 AccountingWEB Accounting Student Scholarship winners.
Entrants were required to write a 500-word essay on the topic of "There's an App for That." Essays were judged in a variety of areas including creativity, innovation, quality of writing, structure, logic, and sources/research. All three essays will appear on AccountingWEB during the next month.

- Steven W. Garner of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, a junior attending the Pennsylvania College of Technology and working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Lucas J. Taylor of Corydon, Indiana, is a graduate student attending Indiana University's Kelley School of Business working towards a master's degree in accounting.
- Howard G. Telson of Edison, New Jersey, is a sophomore attending the College of New Jersey and working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting. Each winner has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship to assist with education costs
