Paychex, Inc., a provider of payroll, human resource, and benefits outsourcing solutions for small and midsized businesses, has announced the launch of its Paychex Mobile smartphone application for iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry. The app provides Paychex clients powerful tools for instant management and increased productivity, while offering their employees on-the-go access to personal payroll, benefits, and retirement information.

Paychex Mobile provides an optimized screen for easy viewing that allows users to connect to a customized dashboard of favorite tasks that include a variety of employer- or employee-focused features.

The Paychex Mobile dashboard provides a navigation point into the app's various features and allows users to configure and customize the dashboard with their preferences. Additionally, scrolling navigation at the top of the subsequent screens allows users to move freely to other parts of the application, without toggling back to the main menu.
Paychex Mobile is also available to accountants working with Paychex clients. By providing a full range of client reports, the app offers another tool to accountants who need instant access to their clients' data ‒ including the cash requirements and payroll journal reports ‒ further enhancing accountants' role as their clients' most trusted advisor. (Paychex is the preferred payroll and retirement services provider for the AICPA Trusted Business Advisor Program.)

Use of the Paychex Mobile smartphone app requires a Paychex Single Sign-On account. Once registered, the same single username and password used to gain access on a laptop, PC, or tablet are also used for smartphone access. Employers do not have to use the app for their employees to access it. If the employer has a Single Sign-On account, employees can then use the smartphone app with a username and password provided by their payroll administrator.
The Paychex Mobile smartphone application is available for download, at no cost, for iPhone from the Apple App Store, for Android from Google Play, and for BlackBerry from BlackBerry App World.

To use the Paychex Mobile smartphone app, users must have an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch with iOS 4.0 or later, an Android smartphone with Android OS 2.2 or later, or a BlackBerry 7.0 or later. Users must also have a Paychex Single Sign-On account as well as an Internet connection.
