At Wolters Kluwer Financial & Compliance Services, his focus on deploying technology to create workflow efficiencies that improve profitability and productivity resulted in several award-winning, customer-focused solutions that resulted in significant business growth. Marx replaces former SFS President Jeff Gramlich, who resigned on February 19.
"Small Firm Services today has a solid foundation and there are great opportunities for the business ahead. I thank Jeff for his contributions to the company. As we look forward, we are also very fortunate to have a leader of Jason's caliber, who is dedicated to creating solutions that make customers more successful and delivering quality solutions to the market," said Tax & Accounting CEO Kevin Robert.
With a strong track record of success within and outside of Wolters Kluwer, Marx's twenty-five years of business leadership experience is well aligned with SFS business priorities. He is experienced in working in a complex and highly regulated industry; serving a large and distributed customer base, and adapting to shifting market forces that require agility, innovation, and execution excellence.
"I am very excited to be joining Small Firm Services, and I am eager to work with our dedicated team of employees as we continue to invest in and enhance our ATX, TaxWise, and Trust US solutions and services to ensure we are meeting our customers' needs as we move ahead," said Marx.
Marx joined Wolters Kluwer in 2007 from FMF Capital, LLC, where he led the reorganization and development of the company's national operations platform as executive vice president. Before that, Marx was senior vice president of National Retail Operations for CitiMortgage, where he led mortgage operations for more than 500 Citibank retail branches. In addition, Marx has held several leadership roles with Ultraprise Corp., AMRESCO Residential Credit Corp., which he cofounded, and Household Financial Services.
