BigTime Software, Inc. has announced the release of a faster, more streamlined version of its entry-level time-tracking package.
The new software, called BigTime Express, is an all-new product designed from the ground up to meet the needs of smaller users looking for an easy-to-use, QuickBooks friendly app that offers the convenience of tracking their time on the go.
"Over the past months we've been talking to users to get their input on what they wanted to see most in our newest Express update, and the feedback was pretty much unanimous," said Brian Saunders, CEO and founder of BigTime. "They asked us for a time-tracking tool that was faster and more streamlined. An app that lets them get in, enter time, and get out in under five minutes."
Among BigTime Express's features are a new dashboard that provides at-a-glance project status in real-time, a desktop widget (for Windows 7 users), mobile time tracking, simplified time logging, and greatly optimized QuickBooks integration which allows users to more quickly pull timesheet data in and out of QuickBooks -- one of the most requested enhancements.
Express also boasts a redesigned interface that puts everything at the user's fingertips.
"We've radically changed the way the user interacts with the system," Saunders said. "We made major improvements to the menus, stripped the main navigation across the top of the page, and implemented a few other alterations that give the user easier access to major functionality and free up space so user data gets some much-needed breathing room."
The Express app is ideal for the smaller, entrepreneurial firm who has fewer than twenty users and wants the ability to easily add users as it grows. For larger users, BigTime Software offers two pro-level apps, BigTime Plus and BigTime Premium. All plans offer a thirty-day, risk-free trial featuring unlimited clients, unlimited projects, and QuickBooks integration.
