CNBC is supposed to unveil its Annual List of America's Top States for Business tomorrow. According to THIS ARTICLE, CNBC will base it's list on 10 broad categories
- Cost of doing business
- Infrastructure and transportation
- Quality of life
- Technology and innovation
- Business friendliness
- Cost of living
- Access to capital
The category with the biggest maximum points is "cost of doing business." This category takes into account the state and local tax burden of each state. Hence, state taxes will play a big part in CNBC's annual list.
I am anxious to see this list to see where each state will land.
