Today is Take Our Sons and Daughters to Work Day, so it seems fitting we’re reporting on some new developments surrounding the future of financial literacy in the K-12 learning environment. And financial literacy education isn’t only lacking in the classroom. The results of a recent survey conducted by Sage North America show that small business owners who don’t use financial software lack understanding of key benchmarks that can help them manage their day-to-day operations. Meanwhile, the AICPA has proposed a revision of its Code of Professional Conduct. AICPA members need to take the time to read this proposal and offer comments.
