McKonly & Asbury – IPA ALL-STAR (A Shared Vision Firm)

By Scott A. Heintzelman

McKonly & Asbury has been recognized for another achievement in the accounting industry. For the third straight year, accounting industry publication – Inside Public Accounting - has named McKonly & Asbury an All-Star.  This distinction, part of the publication's annual search for the Best of the Best in the Accounting Industry, honors accounting firms for their management practices.

In 2006, McKonly & Asbury was named an All-Star for Growth, ranking the firm as one of the ten fastest growing firms in the nation.  In 2007, the firm was honored in the category of "Leverage", measuring performance of the firm vs. number of partners.  McKonly & Asbury was again an All-Star for Leverage this year.

I think this speaks to our philosophy of corporate management and being a shared vision firm as opposed to being a shared services firm (where each partner has separate clients and overhead costs are simply shared or allocated).  I truly believe that clients and staff win when a firm has a shared vision and all clients and staff are part of the whole organization.  This in turn will mean that the owners/partners will win in the long-term.

This is truly an amazing accomplishment and speaks well of our leadership team and our amazing team members.  I am so proud to be a part of this team.
