People that know me well, recognize one of my true passions in life is Messiah College. I am a 1989 graduate of this fine academic institution and I also currently sit on the board of trustees. Messiah has an amazing accounting program and in 2006 ranked 7th in the nation for the percentage of students who passed the CPA exam on their first attempt. This is very impressive when you consider that over 2,000 colleges and universities offer accounting as a major. However, most of Messiah’s national recognition is a result of the athletic program, winning numerous national championships. Well, imagine my delight when the USA Today had a feature story in the sports section about Messiah this morning.
