CFOs at many companies these days are certainly under added pressure to trim costs wherever they can. Sometimes, though, we hear about cost-cutting measures that have short-term gains, but drag down morale and employee satisfaction in the long-term. One such company I heard about posts a monthly report ranking company travelers by their daily expenses while on the road. This seems a bit like treating employees like children. Your thoughts?

Share the Wealth
Why not share cost savings with employees? Set bench mark per Diem's, then share 50/50 any less than that. Incent the behavior you want.
