The Power of Positive Thinking

Back to blog homepage for: The HR Connection
Is your glass half full or half empty? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel, even though it may seem never ending? Does it matter? Sure it matters. It matters a great deal. Why?

The power of positive thinking can change and improve your life. It can affect many areas of your health and well being, and is a great stress buster too! Of course this doesn’t mean you stick your head in the sand like an ostrich, and let people walk all over you. It simply means you have a more positive approach to situations.

Researchers are always exploring the effects of positive thinking and some health benefits which include:

-         increased life span (sounds good to me)
-         lower rates of depression
-         greater resistance to common cold (see ya Z pack)
-         reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease (no brainer on this one)

I like this quote: “A positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible.” And if all else fails “A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.”

Bring it on!
