I had a wonderful lunch today with AccountingWeb Editor-in Chief Gail Perry today. About a month ago I learned that Gail lives in about 20 miles west of me in the greater metropolitan Detroit area. We met in the middle and talked about AccountingWeb, social media, our families and even football. I learned that Gail is a graduate of Indiana University and isn’t a fan of Purdue. I told her as a graduate of the University of Michigan I root for every school in Michigan except one and that I thought that was pretty good. I also told her that Ohio State University is evil but I stopped short of going into my proofs on that.
We also agreed that AccountingWeb should find a way to get all of the bloggers on the Bloggers Crew together. I suggested Las Vegas and that Rob Nance, AccountingWeb Publisher, should pay for it. I think Gail liked that idea!
