SEC Staff Issue Two Reports On IFRS

This afternoon, the SEC staff issued two reports on IFRS, comparing U.S. GAAP and IFRS, and an analysis of IFRS in practice. Issuance of the reports was expected, as SEC Chief Accountant Jim Kroeker had told FEI's Current Financial Reporting Issues conference earlier this week that the reports were expected in the 'near term.'
