'Tis the Season to be Jolly!
Most of you are probably plowing through mounds of holiday cards or watching your inbox fill up with e-cards! Yet the holiday season affords us the opportunity to spread good will and reach out to the business community with a different approach than any other time during the year. Some CPAs align with a local hospital, school or nonprofit organization to design their firm's holiday cards; some make a donation to a local charity in honor of their business colleagues; others host a holiday party. Knowing your own resources, your marketplace and your philosophy, you can find a way to make a real difference. The good news is that it is not too late. Many funds, food pantries, and charitable organziations are still seeking warm mittens, canned goods, children's gifts and cash to help brighten the holiday for those who have less. This kind of community involvement builds team spirit and pride within the firm while also giving you the chance to perform acts of kindness in the community where you work and live. Give it a try - and if you have been doing something unique, let us know! We'd love to hear your ideas.
Happy Holidays everyone!
