Today’s CPA firms – of all sizes and sophistication – continue to focus on being creative in order to find new ways to gain a stronger position and competitive edge in their business community. One of the strategies that can help boost exposure and reputation at a reasonable cost is to partner with another well regarded organization, presenting a program or a series of programs that are of significance to a targeted audience.
By co-hosting or sponsoring events, you have the opportunity to present your expertise, gaining wide spread attention for your ability to share meaningful information without having to ‘sell’ your services.
Although there are many strategic alliances you can pursue for joint programs, if you can partner with your local media it is especially effective. The promotion is usually aggressive and credibility is built-in. If your local press has not considered putting on business expos, seminars or other symposium-type events, you might consider approaching them with some ideas for working together in a win-win situation.
