Keys to Success

Yesterday morning I attended a symposium for business owners on "Innovation" - featuring speakers (all CEOs) who shared their insights and best practices with the audience.

The one lesson that I wrote down and which I thought I would share with you today was, "Be different. Exceedingly well."   It struck me that this advice is as useful for us in marketing our firms as it is for anyone in the business community.

When you are developing your brand, how 'different" are you - and as importantly - are you setting high standards of excellence, and are you consistently delivering on the promise you make to clients?

This is great food for thought and I hope it spurs discussion at your firm the next time the partners get together.  Feel free to share your ideas! We'd love to hear them.
