Small Businesses Need Help Understanding Health Care Reform
If you want to put your small business clients at ease, it appears one of the best things you can do right now is keep them informed about the possible tax implications of the new health care law.
As it begins to take effect, small business owners are saying it’s the No. 1 thing holding them back on hiring. According to our SurePayroll Small Business Scorecard®, 43 percent of small business owners want more clarity on health care reform to feel confident hiring again.
Unfortunately, the one thing we’re certain about with health care reform is we don’t know what it’s going to mean for business.
There are, however, key provisions you should make sure your clients are aware of, so they have a better understanding of what may be coming. And, of course, you can find more information on healthcare.gov.
With so much uncertainty surrounding the new law, it could be a rocky transition for some small businesses. Make sure you’re there to guide them through it.
