Minnesota Tax Reform: Poorly Designed??
According to the Tax Foundation, the Minnesota Governor has proposed poorly designed tax reform.
Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton (D) recently proposed his 2014-2015 biennial budget, which includes $2.1 billion in revenue increases. Included are increased income taxes on high-income earners, an expansion of the sales tax base, and a steep hike in cigarette excise taxes.
