It Could Be Moving Time in D.C.
If you’re advising an entrepreneur right now, you might tell them to consider the moving business in Washington, D.C. That’s because after the last few months of frustration, small business owners say they are ready for new leadership on Capitol Hill.
In our latest SurePayroll Small Business Scorecard® survey for October, more than 60 percent of small business owners said they would not vote to reelect their Congressman or woman if an election were held today.
Nine out of 10 said the concerns of businesses with 10 or less employees are not being heard by their government leaders.
It seems like a pretty clear call to action for the people in Congress: don’t forget about small businesses. They are, after all, the engine that really drives this economy, making up the majority of American businesses.
Their voices should be heard.
