FASB Releases Invitation to Comment on Disclosure Framework

On Thursday, July 12, FASB released an Invitation to Comment on the Disclosure Framework. Comments on the Invitation to Comment, a document - similar to an SEC or PCAOB "Concept Release" - that precedes a potential Proposed Accounting Standard Update (or proposed rule, respectively) are due by Nov. 16, 2012.
