Balancing Work with the Holidays: New Year’s Big Ideas
You will hear a lot about New Year’s Resolutions with 2013 upon us, but perhaps the better question for your firm is, what are your New Year’s Big Ideas? What are you going to do to improve and grow your business?
It’s easy to resolve not to do something, but let’s be proactive. Let’s think of something new that we haven’t considered before, instead of the old clichés. Maybe it’s a new revenue stream or a way to make your business more efficient with technology.
If things are slow during the holidays, it’s a great opportunity to set aside some time to brainstorm and throw ideas around. Maybe even turn into a longer working lunch. Buy your employees pizza and get their input on how your firm can be more profitable.
You might just stumble upon something that could make 2013 a year to celebrate.
