Virtual Conference Addresses Cloud Accounting

On November 8 and 9, 2012, hundreds of accountants worldwide, while sitting in their favorite chairs at work or at home, will be learning practice-growth tips from two accounting industry thought leaders, networking with like-minded practitioners, posing in-depth questions to exhibitors, and earning CPE.

While the accounting industry moves to the Cloud, it makes sense to hold a conference in the Cloud as well.
"The virtual conference is designed to help accounting consultants learn the steps to transition best-fit clients to Cloud accounting as well as discover new tools and tips to grow their practices," says Michelle Long, CPA, Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, member of Intuit's Trainer/Writer Network, and founder of Long for Success, LLC.
"A lot of accounting professionals want to get the best training but cannot travel or spend days away from their practices. Technology allows us to come to your office and removes financial barriers too," says Sandi Smith Leyva, CPA, and founder of Accountant's Accelerator®, a practice-growth program.
Both Long and Smith Leyva are popular speakers at accounting industry conferences and are known for their practical, profit-focused advice to solo accounting consultants and small firms.
One highlight of the virtual conference will be their keynote session, "5 Significant Changes in Accounting Services and How You Can Benefit." Other planned sessions include:
  • "5 Ways to Make Money from Cloud Accounting (and How to Price It)"
  • "Common Mistakes Clients Make, How to Fix and Bill for Them"
  • "Transitioning Your Clients to the Cloud from Initial Discussion to Implementation to Client Usage"
  • "Cloud 101 Panel," plus seven more
Gold Sponsors include Xero, ScanWriter, Intuit, Cloud9 Real Time, Avalara, and Complimentary preview webinars will be held September 27 and October 30, 2012.
