Tim Shelley and Glenn Aldridge Join Forces

Tim Shelley and Glenn Aldridge are joining forces to expand the CPA practice of Aldridge Shelley, PC, formerly operating as K. Glenn Aldridge, PC. Glenn Aldridge formed the original firm in 2009 to provide best-of-class service for small and midsize market businesses and not-for-profit organizations. The new firm expands their capabilities and builds on the three decades of experience they have serving some of the Southeast's most well-respected organizations.

Prior to forming Aldridge Shelley, Aldridge served as an audit partner and the director of not-for-profit services at two top twenty-five Atlanta CPA firms. He is an active audit instructor to top 100 CPA firms nationally, state accounting societies, and the AICPA. Aldridge is pleased to have Shelley as a partner. "We are excited to build on the firm's original vision of making a positive impact on our community by serving our professionals and clients each day," says Aldridge. "Tim will be a tremendous asset to the firm, allowing us to expand our service offerings and provide additional depth of service to our clients."

Shelley is the founder of The Argon Advisors, an advisory firm that provides financial reporting and advisory services to SEC registrants and other middle-market companies. He will provide financial accounting and reporting services as well as audit and assurance and related consulting services to organizations ranging from development-stage companies to those in the Fortune 1000. Shelley's prior experience included working in the private equity and audit practices of KPMG and Arthur Andersen for ten years, where he served some of Atlanta's fastest growing and largest software and technology services companies. He also led the technology and life sciences practice of a large regional accounting and consulting firm where he was a partner for several years.

"By combining our professional strengths, we have created a firm that can offer clients so much more under one umbrella," says Shelley. "The formation of Aldridge Shelley expands on the firm's existing audit and assurance services as well as expanding our industry footprint."
