HORNE LLP's $50,000 for 50 Years Contest

HORNE LLP, an accounting and business advisory firm that has served clients across the nation for fifty years, has announced the five finalists in its "$50,000 for 50 Years" charity donation contest. Finalists will participate in an online vote set to open August 27.
The finalists are:
- The American Cancer Society, Mid-South Division Inc.
- The Exchange Club - Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse
- Friends of Children's Hospital
- The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- Ronald McDonald House Charities
The contest is part of HORNE's yearlong celebration to honor its 50th anniversary. Developed as a way to honor the firm's team members by supporting the causes they care most about, HORNE's $50,000 for 50 Years program serves to bring awareness to the charities that HORNE team members believe in and support.
HORNE employees nominated more than 30 nonprofit organizations that met a preestablished set of criteria, including alignment with the firm's mission: "Creating value, making a difference."
The online vote is open to the public and will run from August 27 through September 26. The winner of the online vote will be announced on October 1, HORNE's 50th anniversary, and receive a check from HORNE in the amount of $50,000. To vote, visit HORNE's website.
