LBMC Technologies, LLC, a full-service technology firm in the Southeast and a member of the LBMC (Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC) Family of Companies, is pleased to announce the recent addition of Will Harvey to its Brentwood (Nashville) office. 

Harvey has been hired as a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse senior consultant and will primarily be focused on designing high-end solutions using the Microsoft SharePoint and SQL Server BI Enterprise Development Technologies. Most recently, Harvey served as a business intelligence analyst for Onlife Health, a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield. 
 
Originally from Naples, Florida, Will is a graduate of Vanderbilt University where he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees, with a Master of Organizational Leadership.

Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (RSSM), certified public accountants and profitability consultants, announces Victoria L. Pitkin, CPA, has joined the firm as a principal. 
 
Pitkin has over twenty years of experience in providing accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services for a variety of organizations, including apparel and textile, manufacturing and distribution, service providers, and real estate. As a member of the Firm's Quality Control department, she is responsible for pre-issuance reviews of financial statements as well as consulting on accounting and attestation issues and disseminating information to the firm relating to current attestation developments. Pitkin is also very active in developing and delivering quality continuing educational programs to RSSM's professional staff on a variety of topics, from audit efficiency to risk-based auditing, and spearheads RSSM's engagement efficiency initiative. 
 
She received her BS in accounting from Lehigh University and her BA in history from Bryn Mawr College.

Bonnie S. Aleshire, of Smith Elliott Kearns & Company, LLC, recently earned the QuickBooks Advanced and the QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) certification from Intuit's Certified ProAdvisor program. The QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor certification is awarded by Intuit to individuals who are already acknowledged QuickBooks experts. This designation helps distinguish them as highly proficient in the use of QuickBooks with a deep understanding of accounting principles and the ability to troubleshoot client data.
 
In addition to this level of mastery, a QuickBooks Advanced Certified ProAdvisor must have passed the most recent three years of QuickBooks Certification Exams. The QuickBooks POS certification is for accounting and technology professionals who are already familiar with QuickBooks financial software and who plan to serve clients with QuickBooks POS requirements.
 
Aleshire joined the firm in 2004 as a support accountant and is a 2010 graduate of Wilson College. She provides bookkeeping services for local businesses in various industries, including retail, health care, and nonprofit entities. Aleshire also assists clients with QuickBooks installation, support, and training.

On Tuesday, December 11, 2012, Akron CPA firm Winer+Bevilacqua, Inc. hosted its complimentary YOU+ breakfast lecture series at Portage Country Club in Akron, Ohio, from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Presentations regarding impending tax changes and the importance of business valuations informed attendees about upcoming trends and regulations that could financially impact their businesses.
