Savoy enters his new position with almost forty years of CPA experience. With Gumbiner Savett Inc. since 1994, he specializes in providing audit and financial reporting for privately held entities, litigation support and forensic accounting, tax planning and compliance, succession planning, and exit strategies. 

 

In addition to Savoy, the newly elected leadership includes Leslie LaManna, CPA, as president and Kitak (K.T.) Leung, CPA, as secretary/treasurer. The CBA, which currently has 76,000 licensees, regulates the largest group of licensed accounting professionals in the nation. Its primary aim is to protect consumers by ensuring that only qualified licensees practice public accountancy in California in accordance with established professional standards.

Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC (LBMC), one of the Southeast's largest accounting and business consulting firms, has added Charlotte S. Cardin in its Knoxville office as a staff member with the accounting services department.

 

Prior to joining LBMC, Cardin was a staff accountant at Kimberly Barnett, CPA/Paytime Solutions. In her professional career, she has worked with various small businesses providing accounting write-up, payroll, and tax services. Cardin enjoys working closely with clients and providing over-the-top customer service. She graduated from Pellissippi State with her associate's degree and is currently working toward a bachelor's degree from Tennessee Wesleyan College.
