PwC Consulting has announced its new name. When the consulting arm separates from PricewaterhouseCoopers, the new firm will be known as Monday.
PwC Consulting filed for an initial public offering (IPO) for as much as $1 billion in May 2002. In preparation for the IPO, Greg Brenneman was named chief executive officer (CEO) on June 2, 2002 and former Dun & Bradstreet senior executive Frank Sowinski was named chief financial and administrative officer on June 6, 2002.
In announcing the new name, Mr. Brenneman said, "The PricewaterhouseCoopers brand has given us a great heritage. Our new name – Monday – is exactly what we want it to be as we create our new business: a real word, concise, recognizable, global, and the right fit for a company that works hard to deliver results."
"Monday is a new identity," added Mr. Brenneman, "on which to build our company's future. It will have meaning and stand for something – real people, real experience, real business – and that means real results."
The firm has established a new Web site to introduce its new logos. To view the logo and related visual identity elements, visit www.IntroducingMonday.com.
