Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas, P.C. (PKF Texas) was named a winner of the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility, distinguishing PKF Texas as one of the leading practitioners of workplace flexibility in Houston and across the nation.
“We are honored to be a recipient of the Sloan Award for the second year in a row,” said Kenneth Guidry, CPA, President. “At a time when accounting services are in high demand and competition for talent is fierce, we chose to adopt a people first flexible workplace strategy to grow our business without overburdening our team or compromising client service.”
“Sloan Award winners have put into practice their bold ideas about how to make work work in the 21st century, and they have shown how they can support the needs of their employees while also making their organizations more effective and successful,” said Ellen Galinsky, President of Families and Work Institute.
PKF Texas was recognized at the Houston award luncheon on October 23, 2008. Twelve companies in Houston received recognition, including Continental, Rice University and Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP. Houston is one of 30 cities nationwide chosen to participate.
