We are fully confident that he will help us build the alliance into the profession's premier accounting firm association.â
âI'm more excited about this group than ever, now that we have a pro like Sacks on board,â says Bill Young, Co-Chair of the global alliance and a partner at member firm Wipfli, LLP. âSteve has proven his ability to provide vision, leadership and motivation to the members of professional organizations, as well as to work with and build consensus among CPA firm leaders. He has extensive contacts in the profession and a firm grip on the trends shaping our future. More important, he knows how to transform ideas into results-generating initiatives. I think he'll play a central role in the growth and success of our association.â
âWhen the group asked me for help in finding an executive director, Steve was one of the names that came quickly to my mind, says Allan D. Koltin, CPA, President & CEO of PDI Global, Inc. âHe has a rare combination of keen vision and outstanding leadership skills. I'm very glad we were able to facilitate this match.â
âWhen Allan talked to me about this position, I knew right away that it would be a great fit for me, Sacks says. âThat's not only because of my knowledge and experience, but also because I really enjoy creating strategies and implementing initiatives that result in new and better ways for CPA firms to better serve their clients. The firms in this group are truly at the forefront of the accounting profession. I very much look forward to working with them to leverage their resources, offer international services and move them to the next level of success.â
