Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. is pleased to announce that Kristina Drzal Houghton, CPA, MST, a partner in that firm, has been honored by The American Society of Woman Accountants (ASWA) Educational Foundation with the foundation's Balance Award. This award honors individuals and companies on the national, regional and local levels for their commitment to work/life balance within the accounting profession. Kris was named the northeast regional recipient of this prestigious award at the joint national conference of the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) and the American Woman's Society of CPAs (AWSCPA) which took place in late October in Dallas, Texas.
"The Balance Award recognizes excellence within the profession and beyond," said David Kalicka, managing partner of Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. My partners and I, and our entire firm, are inspired by Kris' example." In March of this year, Houghton was also honored as the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield (ACCGS) Women's Partnership Woman of the Year.
