As reported here last week, Big 5 CPA firm Ernst & Young this week announced that it has entered into a landscape-altering alliance this week with a new DC law firm called McKee Nelson Ernst & Young LLP.
This integrated professional services model has been in place in many countries around the world, but until now has never been available in this country. This is the first time clients will be able to get their legal and accounting work in just one spot in a coordinated effort.
The law firm, established by William S. McKee and William F. Nelson, well-known tax lawyers formerly of King & Spalding, will operate as a completely separate, independent entity, although it will share contiguous space with E&Y's Washington DC office.
Let the flood gates be opened!
