Pleasanton, CA-based CPA firm Sensiba San Filippo LLP has announced its merger with W.H. Mayer Accountancy Corporation, a firm with a 55-year history of providing accounting and tax advice to businesses and individuals in the Tri-Valley, San Francisco Bay area. The combined firms will provide CPA and business consulting services under the Sensiba San Filippo name, effective January 3, 2012.
"We are thrilled to have this opportunity to add the top-notch talent of W.H. Mayer to our team," said John Sensiba, managing partner of Sensiba San Filippo. "W.H. Mayer is a natural fit for us in all respects, from its community-oriented philosophy to its diverse client base. It is precisely the type of organization we have been looking to associate with as we continue to grow and expand. Combining forces will give our current clients a wealth of additional resources as we continue to offer effective and efficient business solutions."
The merger represents a critical first step in an aggressive go-to-market strategy designed to accelerate Sensiba San Filippo's staffing and revenue growth over the next several years, according to the company announcement. The firm's expansion plan combines organic growth with select acquisitions, while continuing to provide value-added services to its clients.
"Our firm couldn't be happier to be joining forces with Sensiba San Filippo. Like us, Sensiba San Filippo has been a pillar of the San Francisco Bay Area business community for decades, and it shares the same deep commitment to exceptional client service," said W.H. Mayer Principal Wally H. Mayer.
W.H. Mayer will move its offices to Sensiba San Filippo's existing Pleasanton office on January 5, 2012, and will continue serving its existing clients.
