With a record $8.4 billion in revenue for the fiscal year ending August 31, Arthur Andersen is reporting an increase in revenue over last year of 15%. This is the eighth straight year for double-digit growth, and the firm has seen such growth for 11 of the past 12 years.

World-wide revenue growth, with particular strength in the Asia/Pacific area, spurred the Chicago-based accounting giant to a record-breaking year.

The Chicago Tribune reports the firm showed a 35% revenue increase in the Asia/Pacific area, 12% growth in North America, 12% growth in the Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa segment, and flat performance in Latin America.
