The 2005 college and university rankings are out and U.S. News has compiled an extensive collection of college and university rankings. Schools have been classified and rated in many different ways.
Harvard and Princeton again share the top spot of the country's best national colleges. Yale University came in third, University of Pennsylvania, fourth and Duke University fifth.
The top three Public National Universities are: University of CaliforniaâBerkeley; University of MichiganâAnn Arbor and University of Virginia.
The top undergraduate business schools specializing in accounting according to US News are: University of TexasâAustin (McCombs); University of IllinoisâUrbana-Champaign amd the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton).
U.S. News and World Report's annual list rates schools in areas such as graduation and retention rates, faculty and financial resources and the percentage of alumni who give money to their alma mater.
