In an effort to focus business on large, multi-national companies who need assistance with implementing its solutions, Great Plains has announced an alliance with many leading market players in a new program called the 'Global Accounts Initiative.'
Partners include two Big Five firms, Deloitte & Touche and KPMG, as well as Ernst & Young Technologies. The bottom line on this new program is to ensure local companies in foreign countries have the built-in help they need.
This includes knowing similar languages, local accounting and tax requirements, and of course, a customer's technology needs.
The typical customer is large, such as subsidiaries of Fortune 100 companies, multinationals with locations in two to three countries, and multinational organizations with up to 20 sites and divisions.
