Traphagen Financial Group, an accounting and wealth management firm, announced its merger with Gerald Brignola, CPA, PA (GB), a Paramus, New Jersey–based accounting firm, effective January 1, 2012.
"The addition of Jerry Brignola, the president of GB, and his staff, will add significant talent to our dedicated team of professionals. Jerry's commitment to quality and client service is consistent with our core values," said V. Peter Traphagen, senior CPA, and the firm's founding partner.
"Gerald (Jerry) Brignola is highly regarded in the accounting profession and has more than thirty years of experience in both public and private accounting. Jerry worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Citigroup before starting his own CPA firm in 1986," said Robert Traphagen, CPA, and managing partner of the accounting division
Brignola added, "I have always sought to deliver the highest quality of service to our clients. Traphagen Financial Group is firm comprised of two divisions: accounting and wealth management. The accounting division specializes in taxation, financial reporting, and advisory services, including financing and M&A. Its wealth management division manages client investment assets and provides comprehensive estate, tax, and financial planning services.
