1. Credit Card Payments From Clients. If you do, how long have you been accepting them? What percentage of clients pay by credit card? Has it improved your collections?
2. I work in Canada, many of my Canadian tax clients must obtain an "ITIN" in order to report business or other income earned from the US, or to be claimed as a dependant for a US filer. These people are not eligible for a SSN, but must get the ITIN. I understand that an acceptance agent may certify their documents and assist in processing the W7 application for ITIN. I have scoured the IRS website and sent e-mail requests, but have not received an answer. Do you know the acceptance agent application process?
3. Is a Love Offering Income? A singing group performs at
various churches. They do not charge a fee to the churches.
Some of the churches have taken up a collection (Love Offering) which goes to the singers. Is this income to the singers? The money goes directly to the singers, it is not deposited into the church account and then paid to the singers. My thinking is that these are gifts and therefore excludable from income.
4. Rental agreement between company and director for use of home as office. I am looking for a sample license agreement between a company and its directors to account for payments made to the directors for use of their home as office.
